Today this afternoon we went down to honumakapa'a. We went holoholo we caught fish we caught Po'opa'a, Kupipi and mamo. Ali'iloa caught a fish it was pretty strange i dont know the name but im sure he knows i know that Honokea,Ali'iloa,Hi'ilei and every one else caught an i'a (fish)Then we went for a swim in Honumakapa'a we all had fun today and now we are resting on our long fun day. But tommorow we are going to clean the fish hen we will fry it and eat it
Today the Three Mountain Alliance came and we made masks of different ocean animals. We could choose between an aholehole, a hee, a limu kohu, a coral, a honu, a shark, or a haukeuke. We talked about the food chain in the ocean and about how we can help to make sure there will always be fish for us to eat.
What do ocean animals eat?

Aliiloa Waipa- "The fish eat limu." "The uhu eats coral and he poops it out and it turns to sand."

Megan Decoito- "The honu eats limu and the honu travels back to where they to lay their eggs, to give birth."

What is your favorite thing you saw in the Kaheka (tidepool), and where did you find it?
La'akea Waipa (8 yrs)- "I found it on the huge, huge rock, and it was a collection sea urchin".
