Today we learned about the ecosystem and how things work together in the ocean from Aunty Lahela and aunty Leʻa. We learned that everything in the ocean needs each other if it is a plant an animal or nonliving thing. Aunty Lahela brought masks of Limu Kohu, Koʻa, Mano Niuhi, Honu, Aholehole and Heʻe We decorated them and talked about how they are related. Aunty Lahela had us choose a mask to color. After coloring our creatureʻs we went into our groups and formed a circle.  We talked about these creatures role in this ecosystem.
By connecting a pink string to each animal or plant we talked about connection between each other and plants living on land.
